Château Lastours Gaillac

Similar in style to a Claret, yet with a warm smooth finish, this makes for perfect current drinking. This vintage is full and savoury with lots of ripe fruit and is drinking well.

The Faramond family produces good quality, well made wines from their riverside Chateau in Gaillac. Most of the 40 Hectares of his property is under vine on the Valley floor of the river Tarn, with the the majority of the property on gravely soil. They use this to their advantage making medium-bodied wines of character.
