ArmAs Karmrahyut

Armenia is considered to be the birthplace of wine, with biblical references to the region being planted with vines.

Founded by Armen Aslanyan, ArmAs is revitalising Armenia’s historic winemaking legacy on an estate set against the backdrop of Mount Ararat. Winemaker Emilio del Medico pays homage to this heritage by creating elegant and distinct wines from estate grown native varieties.

This is a superb example of native Armenian grape Karmrahyut (which translates to ‘red juice’), showing intense aromas of mature red fruits, rose petals and spice. On the palate, it’s a powerful, full-bodied wine achieves excellent balance with firm tannins.
