From vineyards at the foot of Mount Brouilly, the most southerly of the Crus Beaujolais.
This is a fresh and juicy wine made by one of our favourite small grower collectives, Oedoria.
Oedoria was formed from the merger of three long-standing wineries in Beaujolais – Cave des Vignerons de Liergues (1929), Cave du Beauvallon de Theizé (1959) and Cave des Vignerons du Doury à Létra (1956).
Their wines rarely make it far as the UK!
They describe their Brouilly like this:
A deep ruby red colour and red fruits, plum and peach on the nose, along with mineral notes. Robust and full-bodied, it should be served with game, red meat and aged cheese.
