Not the result of a dyslexic brewer, Cnut is a tribute to the eponymous king who funded the building of Cerne Abbey (and eventually died in Shaftesbury).
The beer itself Norwegian style West Country American Pale Ale (no, really!). It uses Kviek yeast propagated in Cerne Abbas and a crafty blend of the English Jester and American Mosaic hops.
