Burgozone is a boutique family winery perched on the slopes of the Danube river in Northern Bulgaria, overlooking the island of Esperanto. Fun fact, Burgozone is named after the Roman fortress built on the ancient Roman road Via Istrum. As an independent grower-producer they produce a modern and elegant style of Bulgarian wines.
Côte du Danube Pinot Noir is soft, juicy and easy drinking. It retains the cherry character of the grape along with hints of vanilla, spices and chocolate.
It’s vegan too if that’s important.
