Katarzyna Estate is the first Bulgarian cellar with a wine is rated over 90 points by Robert Parker, and over 300 honors won, making it one of the most awarded Bulgarian cellars.
Wine making brothers Svilen and Ivan Kisyovy describe their vision for the winery like this –
“To use the traditional wine-making techniques to reveal the uniqueness of the vineyard and its terroir. To create wines that are homogeneous, well-balanced and express and emphasize the character of the region.”
Their Viognier is a rich, almost greeny-yellow, filled with nuances of peach and citrus on the nose. It has a balanced and soft taste with pleasant fruity freshness.
