Domaine de la Brossette Touraine Rouge

Domaine de La Brossette is a tiny three hectare estate which is Certified Organic, situated on the bank of the Cher, 50 kilometres east of Tours.

This equal mix of half Cabernet Franc, half Gamy is bright ruby-red in colour, with  fresh red fruits and chalky mineral fragrances courtesy of their clay, flint and sand soils.

The palate is beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, a supple texture and bright, precise fruit.

(Oh, and in case you were wondering, Brossette is the colloquial name for hedgehog – little brush literally- hence the label!)
