Santa Alicia who make El Cadejo are a long established (by Chilean standards) producer in the Maipo valley to the South West of Santiago.
Named for one of Chiles most famous rodeo stallions (which translates to ‘bunch of flowers’ after his flowing mane) this is a really typical Valle Central Merlot.
Ripe, rounded fruit with flavours of mulberry and damson. Soft tannins and light oak lead to a smooth finish.
An easy drinking Chilean that pairs perfectly with red meat and pasta, whilst being approachable enough to enjoy it on its own.
