Niepoort ‘Drink me’ Douro Tinto

The Niepoort family has been making port in Portugal’s Douro Valley since 1842 and has one of the best reputations in the industry. However, 30 years ago, the Douro’s wine production was in the doldrums.

5th generation winemaker Dirk Niepoort was one of the great visionaries who transformed and re-invigorated the region, and has been producing excellent quality Douro DOC since the early 1990s.

The rather funky ‘Drink Me’ is an easy-drinking blend of port grape varieties full of rounded, elegant yet plump fruit.

We have stock in a range of sizes from standard 75cl right up to a HUGE, boxed 5 litre Jeroboam. What fun!
