Amazing value Romanian Pinot Noir.
Don’t expect the depth and elegance of Burgundy. Although described elsewhere as dark, rich and potent, it really isn’t! This is light, juicy and very quaffable (it’s only 12.5% after all). It’s a great glugger not to be taken too seriously, although we loved it. The sort of red you can happily drink chilled in the summer.
“Perinitza” by the way is the traditional Romanian folk wedding dance. Lively and full of fun.
