The Voillot family have grown vines for five generations and have a big footprint, south of Beaune, with thirty two parcels across some of the finest vineyards, all under the benevolent control of Joseph Voillot’s son-in-law, Jean Pierre Charlot.
With a decent bit of age to it, their Pommard is full of aromas of raspberry, clove and tea. Soft, round and rich on the palate with notes of cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and baking spices and a good acidity.
